I love the car spotting out here. The islands attract a lot of rich eccentrics, which makes for some whacky classic car choices.

While I don’t dispute that, the vast majority of the cars I’ve seen so far are pretty generic by southeastern Pennsylvania standards.

One curious spotting last night happened when the courtesy cars operated by the White Elephant, all of them newish BMW 7-series, rolled out of the ferry making serious metal scraping noises with their brakes.

I spotted an unreasonable num ber of classic Volkswagens yesterday, including 2 (!) Single cab Type 2 pickups. I’m going there again t oday and want to see if I can get some pictures
